Our Mission
Founded by Shalyn Cofer, a single mother who raised a child with level 3 autism while working and completing her degree. She created this foundation to help other mothers who are navigating a similar path.
Beyond the Diagnosis Foundation, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to empower and uplift single mothers raising children with disabilities. We provide financial assistance, emotional support, and community resources to help these resilient women overcome barriers, achieve their academic goals, and create brighter futures for their families. Our commitment is rooted in compassion, advocacy, and the belief that no mother should have to choose between her dreams and her child’s needs.
